Info: Principal Broker. Gary was born and raised in Farmville. After completing high school he received his salesman's license and continued working for his father Landon G. Atkins for over 29 years.
He attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he successfully completed courses in Principals of Real Estate, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Brokerage, Real Estate Appraisal, Business Law and many more. He was a member of the Rho Epsilon Real Estate Fraternity. He attended and graduated from Mendenhall Auctioneering School in 1981.
He is an active member of the Farmville Fire Department, Farmville Chamber of Commerce, and graduated from the Class of 2001 Leadership Farmville. Gary is a member of the Farmville Baptist Church as well as a member of the Moose Lodge.
